ELIZABETH AMBASA MUNGUI is our Managing partner and the Head of Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Department.

She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and the Managing Partner at Kathurima & Mungui Co. advocate LLP. She is highly motivated and reliable Legal Professional with a degree of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons)from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law (KSL) and a Certified Professional Mediator from Mediation Training Institute East Africa (MTI East Africa).

Elizabeth has extensive experience in negotiation and dispute resolution, drafting and management of Contracts, Criminal and Civil Litigation, Family law, Employment Law, Commercial Law, Anti-corruption, Asset recovery matters, Conveyancing, Constitutional and Human Rights law. Skilled in trial advocacy, probate succession and trusts, and commercial law matters.

She possesses a diverse set of legal skills that enable functioning independently on cases without supervision and participating effectively as a member of a legal research or litigation team. Proven ability to foster and sustain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and law enforcement personnel. Extensive knowledge in substantive law and legal procedure, litigation, analytical and logical reasoning, legal research, computer applications, community relations, and ability to work under fixed times and schedules
